Dr. Charlotte Acken co-founded CityWeb Corporation in September of 1999. She was formerly a cofounder and CEO of Terret, Inc., an Internet services corporation. Prior to her work at Terret, she was a member of the management and technical staff at Sandia National Laboratories Inc.; Early in her career, Dr. Acken held a tenured faculty position at the University of Arkansas at Monticello in the Mathematics Department. Dr. Acken holds the Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Mathematics from the University of Arkansas and the Master of Science and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Oklahoma State University.
